Welcome to another issue
of Brockiewood Magazine, the UK’s most-read lifestyle publication aimed at the
lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans market – that guarantees NO smut, filth or
ropey chat lines on the back pages. It’s amazing how many
magazines aimed at our community are just about sex. Don’t get us wrong, we all
appreciate that side of life too, almost as much as the Italian priests
recently filmed in Rome, it seems. But we believe the LGBT population is bright,
funny and rounded and want to give you that right here.
We want to stand out from the crowd. So in this month’s issue,
as we’re in the midst of Pride season, we ask what does it mean? How did it
start? How has it changed? Is it still relevant? And from Sydney to Hawaii, from London
to Liverpool we take a snapshot of some of the biggest Pride bashes across the
globe.
